Universal Speed Clamp is designed to replace flanged connections on wellheads and BOP stacks to reduce make-up time. Universal Speed Clamp connectors have been designed for a wide range of bore sizes and for pressure ratings up to 15,000 psi.
Design Features
· Low make-up torque allows fast make-up and reduces rig time.
· Is compatible with all CIW and API hub connections using BX, RX, or U type gaskets.
· Meets all NACE and API specifica-tions for H2S service.
· The connection is rated for full bore working and test pressure loads.
· Can be adapted to any hub connection.
· Provides a reliable bend and shear resistant connector.
· Does not require special tools or expensive torque wrenches of torque multipliers.
