C-22 Casing Heads

C-22 Casing Heads have a versatile straight-bore design that can accept a wide variety of slip and mandrel casing hangers.

C-22-BP Casing Head bowl is identical to the C-22 with the addition of 2 specially designed lockscrews for bowl protector retention.

C-22-L Casing Head bowl is identical to the C-22 except it is slightly deeper to permit the use of lockscrews to retain the slip-type casing hanger or a mandrel casing hanger packoff.

Straight-Bore Design

· Uses a 45° landing shoulder.

· Minimizes hoop load on housing while maintaining high hanging capacity.

· Prevents test plugs from wedging under pressure.

· Reduces the risk of bowl damage due to drill stem rotation.

Outlets

The entire C-22 Casing Head family is available with three different types of outlets:

· Line Pipe Outlets

· Flanged Padded (studded) Outlets

· Extended Flanged Outlets

Casing Hanger Compatibility

· C-22 Casing Heads will accept C-21, C-22-P, and C-22 slip-type casing hangers.

· C-22-BP Casing Heads will accept C-22 slip-type casing hanger with lockscrews retracted.

· C-22-L Casing Heads will accept C-22 slip-type casing hanger and various mandrel hangers with lockscrews engaged.

· C-22-BP Casing Heads are supplied with 2 specially designed lock-screws for bowl protector retention. The lockscrews are designed with a positive stop to prevent overtightening and external damage to bowl protectors.

· C-22-L Casing Heads are supplied with a full set of lockscrews for casing hanger and packoff retention.
