Speed Wellhead System

Speed Wellhead System provides for rig time savings and increased safety by allowing the casing and tubing strings to be run, landed and sealed through the BOP stack without a nipple down. The upper and lower heads are installed as a single unit and under normal circumstances need not be separated.

Casing Hanger

· The standard casing hanger is a high capacity, mandrel style hanger rated to the joint strength of the suspended casing. Circu-lation ports in the hanger allow cement returns up through the BOP stack with the hanger in the landed position. Proper landing can be verified through a sight hole in the lower head flange.

Packoff Support Bushing

· The packoff support bushing is installed through the BOP stack and locked in place with the lockscrews in the lower head.

· The primary seal on the casing hanger is a plastic energized double ‘P’ seal. The seals can be re-energized if necessary throughout the life of the well.

Emergency Casing Suspension

· In the event that the casing becomes stuck and the slips must be set, the upper head is lifted to cut off the casing and install the emergency packoff support bushing. This feature eliminates the expensive, time consuming process of cutting the casing inside the head with internal casing cutter and mill.
