EWC & ED 2 Tubing Heads

Tubing Heads are straight-bore, high capacity spools. They come in two designs: the model EWC for single completions and the model ED-2 for dual completions.

Available Sizes

Available with 7-1/16” nominal bowl compatible with 7-5/8” production casing, 9” nominal bowl compatible with 8-5/8” produc tion casing and 11” nominal bowl compatible with 9-5/8” production casing in 3,000 to 5,000 psi working pressures.

Straight-Bore Design

· 45° landing shoulder can safely support maximum loads.

· Bodies can be made from materials suitable for many severe service environments.

Outlets

The entire EWC Tubing Head family is available with two different types of outlets:

· Line Pipe Outlets

· Flanged Padded (studded) Outlets

Tubing Hangers

· Model EWC Tubing Head accepts a variety of tubing hanger styles including mandrel and wrap-around.

· Model ED-2 Tubing Head is designed for use with ED-2-2C dual tubing hangers with the alignment pin located above the load shoulder. It will also accept a variety of tubing hanger styles including mandrel and wrap-around with the alignment pin retracted.

· Model ED-2 Tubing Head is the most versatile of all. It’s designed for use with ED-2S dual tubing hangers with two alignment pins located below the load shoulder and one above the load shoulder to accommodate the ED-2-2C dual tubing hanger. It will also accept a variety of tubing hanger styles including mandrel and wrap-around with all the alignment pins retracted.

Optional Bottom Connections

· ‘E2/E-02’ bottom, for use with E-2P secondary seal bushing.

· ‘00’ bottom, up to 5,000 psi application.

· Double ‘P’ Seal bottom.
