E2 Secondary Seal

E2 Secondary Seal is inserted in the bottom bowl of a casing spool or tubing spool and retained with a snap wire. The seal is energized when the spool is installed over the casing stub and the flange connection is made up. It is available in standard API casing sizes, as well as nonstandard casing sizes, and is built to provide safe, dependable service in pressure applications through 5,000 psi.

Versatility

· Allows same spool to be used with a variety of casing sizes by inserting the appropriate size seal assembly.

Pressure Applications

· Used in pressure applications through 5,000 psi.

· Also available in an ‘EE’ design with a threaded bottom compression plate to be used in spools with ‘EE’ bottom preps for pressure applications through 10,000 psi.

Snap Wire

· Retains seal assembly in spool.
