E-2P Secondary Seal

E-2P Secondary Seal is an elastomer seal with two metal anti-extrusion rings. Housed in a groove machined directly in the bottom of a spool or flange, it is plastic energized and available in casing sizes 4-1/2” through 3-3/8”. The ‘P’ Seal is designed to provide safe, dependable service in pressure applications through 15,000 psi.

Integral Design

· Provides the structure for a secure, reliable annular seal that is housed directly in a machined groove in the spool or flange.

· Ensures flange connection seal by proecting the ring gasket from wellbore pressure.

Plastic Energized Seal

· Is injected with plastic packing to create an annular seal.

· Is re-energizable while in service.

Metal Anti-extrusion Ring

· Provide reliable high strength support to retain the elastomer seal.

Test Fittings

· Allow testing of the flange connection to ensure validity of the ring gasket seal.

High Pressure Applications

· Recommended as a double ‘P’ Seal configuration for pressure applications through 15,000 psi.
