C-29 Casing Spools

C-29 Casing Spools have a versatile straight-bore design that can accept a wide variety of slip and mandrel casing hangers.

C-29-BP Casing Spool bowl is identical to the C-29 with the addition of 2 specially designed lockscrews for bowl protector retention.

C-29-L Casing Spool bowl is identical to the C-29 except it is slightly deeper to permit the use of lockscrews to retain the slip-type casing hanger or a mandrel casing hanger packoff.

Straight-Bore Design

· Uses a 45° landing shoulder.

· Minimizes hoop load on housing while maintaining high hanging capacity.

· Prevents test plugs from wedging under pressure.

· Reduces the risk of bowl damage due to drill stem rotation.

Outlets

The entire C-29 Casing Spool family is available with three different types of outlets:

· Line Pipe Outlets

· Flanged Padded (studded) Outlets

· Extended Flanged Outlets

Casing Hanger Compatibility

· C-29 Casing Spools will accept C-21, C-21-P, and C-29 slip-type casing hangers.

· C-29-BP Casing Spools will accept C-21-P, C-22, and C-29 slip-type casing hanger with lockscrews retracted.

· C-29-L Casing Spools will accept C-21-P, C-22, and C-29 slip-type casing hanger and various mandrel hangers with lockscrews engaged.

Lockscrews

· C-29-BP Casing Spools are supplied with 2 specially designed lockscrews for bowl protector retention. The lock-screws are designed with a positive stop to prevent overtightening and external damage to bowl protectors.

· C-29-L Casing Spools are supplied with a full set of lockscrews for casing hanger and packoff retention.

Optional Bottom Connections

· ‘E2/E-02’ bottom, for use with PE secondary seal bushing.

· ‘00’ bottom, up to 5,000 psi application.

· Double ‘P’ Seal bottom.
