Weight Energized Seal Slip-Type Casing Hanger

The C-22 and C-29 Slip-Type Casing Hangers are of similar design with different support capacities. The C-22 can support 50% of the casing yield strength, while the C-29 can support 100%. Both wrap-around styles are designed as single pre- assembled units to ensure ease of installation and operation. They are designed for general service and are compatible with C-22 and C-29 casing head and casing spool bowls.

Maximum Strength and Ease of Installation

· Heavy duty latch and hinge design creates a reliably strong and stable hanger structure after closing.

· Hinge mechanism enables the hanger halves to pivot out of the way during assembly around the casing.

· Latch cap screw prevents accidental opening of the hanger.

· Minimum number of parts reduces cost and installation time.

Weight Set Energized

· Packoff is automatically energized with casing weight.

Reliable Hanging Capacity

· Guide ring maintains slip alignment during installation and operation.

· On C-29 hangers only, two sets of slips distribute the casing weight to ensure stronger support for extreme casing loads.

Compatible Bowls

· Compatible with C-22 and C-29 casing head and casing spool bowls.

Casing Size

· C-22 and C-29 slip-type casing hangers will accommodate the full API tolerance range for casing O.D.

· Special casing hangers for nonstandard casing O.D. sizes are available upon request.
